Hi, l’m Bill Buckley, and this is an online portfolio of my issue-oriented artworks. These pages contain graphic arrangements about situations, conflicts and everyday news items that affect our daily lives. My work is a kind of “visual journalism,” seen through a prism of uniquely rendered art. My “picture-sense” integrates emotion and ideas with the big picture dramas that unfold and, unfortunately at times explode around us. Each of these arrangements is a one-of-a-kind, often language independent art piece whose goal is to encourage dialogue and build bridges necessary for us all to coexist in a world getting smaller daily.
